Jeremy T. McConaughey (JTM) is a singer-songwriter, musician and producer, driven by one core belief: a great record doesn’t start with perfection — it starts with authenticity.
JTM first made his mark as a drummer and percussionist, touring with regional and national acts, really feeling the pulse of every live and recorded performance. One defining experience in 2009 — working with James Paul Wisner (Paramore, Dashboard Confessional, Underoath) — gave McConaughey his first real glimpse into what the production process could and should feel like: intentional, immersive, and emotionally honest.
In 2015, Jeremy traded his sticks for an acoustic guitar, put pen to paper, and began writing what would become his first solo release. Under the shortened moniker Jeremy Todd, he released The Conversations EP, recorded at Paper Mill Studio in Nashville, TN with Mike Marsh (Dashboard Confessional, The Avett Brothers). The project marked a turning point — blending introspective songwriting in the spirit of Father John Misty, Ben Gibbard, and John Lennon with raw, live energy.
In 2022, Jeremy released his self-titled debut record Jeremy Todd, recorded at Kingsize Soundlabs in Chicago, IL with Matthew Pittman and John Merikoski (The Way Down Wanderers). Collaborating with like-minded artists during that process solidified his next step: not only producing his own music, but stepping into the role of producer and creative guide for others. What began as practical independence evolved into purpose — shaping records that are as authentic as they are timeless.
In 2026, Jeremy completed his Bachelor’s degree in Music Production from Full Sail University, continuing to refine his engineering skills across recording techniques, signal flow, mix architecture, and mastering. Inspired by producer visionaries like George Martin, Rick Rubin, and Jonathan Wilson, he approaches sessions less like a technician and more like a creative partner — drawing out honest performances while sculpting sonic landscapes that feel both modern and enduring.
In every project, Jeremy brings a mystic edge — a minimalist approach that strips away pretense and allows the artist’s truth to take center stage. He listens deeply, holds space for spontaneity, and trusts the alchemy that emerges when a song is fully alive.
From folk ballads to indie rock anthems, his productions carry a timeless spirit — where every note whispers of possibility. Jeremy isn’t simply making records; he’s extending an invitation — into wonder, into risk, and into the truth that lives just beneath the surface.
